Lightbringers are bio-engineered organic foragers created by the Luminoth for use in the war.[1][2] Their crystalline makeup generates a field of energy that can be energized like a Light Crystal.[1]

Morphology[edit | edit source]

Lightbringers are hardy creatures, immune to all weapons fire except for matter-antimatter bursts.[1] They are surface prowlers built to patrol ledges and bridges on Dark Aether, effectively acting as moving Safe Zones.

Lightbringers patrol the Duelling Range in Dark Agon Wastes but disappear after Samus acquires the Light of Aether in Dark Agon's Energy Controller. Through Sequence Breaking, the Lightbringer's unique responses to the Light Beam, Dark Beam, and Annihilator Beam can be observed.[3] These responses correlate to those observed in Light Crystals, specifically super-charging by the Light Beam and nullification by the Dark Beam. A blast of matter-antimatter from the Annihilator Beam will destroy a Lightbringer.
