Stores ammunition, health

Creator(s)

Luminoth

Storage Devices, found in the Temple Grounds, are the only containers without a unique name in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. They are composed primarily of materials indigenous to Aether, and while they are sturdy, they can be destroyed with any weapon in Samus's arsenal.

These bulbous containers taper towards the top and rest on a six-legged base. Once destroyed, supplies within such as energy and ammunition can be collected. Unlike other storage units used by the Luminoth in the Agon and Torvus territories, these devices are apparently constructed instead of grown.
