The Judgement Pit is a room on Dark Aether in the game Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. It connects Save Station 1, Portal Access, Junction Site, Dark Agon Temple Access and Warrior's Walk.

Appearance and Navigation[edit | edit source]

It is sandy and rocky, like most of the rest of the rooms in the Dark Agon Wastes. There is a large sand pit in the center of the room, with a Light Crystal in the center. The first time Samus visits the room through the Blue Door to the Junction Site in the northwestern-most part of the room, she walks into the Light Crystal's safe zone and encounters the Jump Guardian; After defeating it, she regains her Space Jump Boots.

Various stone platforms lead up to a higher level, most of which require the Space Jump Boots to reach. On a low platform in the south, there is a Blue Door that leads to the Portal Access. On a high platform almost directly above that, there is a Purple Hatch that leads to Save Station 1. High up in the room, on the eastern side, there is a Green Blast Shield that leads to Warrior's Walk. If Samus jumps on a series of platforms across the room, she will be able to reach a ledge on the north side of the room, blow open a Red Blast Shield and enter the Dark Agon Temple Access, which leads to the Dark Agon Temple. When Samus comes through the room with Dark Aether's planetary energy, three Warrior Ing attempt to stop her.
