Reevs's death was around the vicinity of the Command Center. It is likely that he was killed during the time when the Ing Hives were provoked into attacking the Federation troopers. The troopers may have destroyed one of the hives and alerted the others to protect the Ing colony, to Capatain Exeter's concern.

Profile

Specialist B. Reevs served as the Science specialist aboard the G.F.S. Tyr as a member of Squad Bravo of the GFMC Task Force Herakles,[1] and was assigned to Force Two after the emergency landing on Aether. It was Reevs who first theorized that there was a hive network and that by destroying a hive, others might be provoked into attacking.[2] Reevs is mentioned by name in the log of the commanding officer, who is rightly concerned about the probable validity of the Specialist's theory.[3]

Fate

Reevs's death was around the vicinity of the Command Center. It is likely that he was killed during the time when the Ing Hives were provoked into attacking the Federation troopers. The troopers may have destroyed one of the hives and alerted the others to protect the Ing colony, to Capatain Exeter's concern.

Seating

Reevs's seating assignment aboard the Tyr was between Sergeant E. Monz and Specialist F. Triplette.

Logbook

Logbook entry from Metroid Prime 2: Echoes: SPC B. Reevs
I don't like this plan. This hive is a small portion of a larger network. There may be dozens of hive systems like this across the planet, and they may all be linked. Destroying this one may buy us time, but it may also provoke the other hives into attacking.[2]
