Portal: Difference between revisions

Samus encounters two types of naturally occurring Portals; white-colored portals found on the surface of Dark Aether known as '''Light Portals''' and black-colored portals found on the surface of Aether known as '''Dark Portals'''. When Samus approaches a Portal, it is inactive and cannot transit matter. When a Portal is energized, Light Energy from the [[Light Beam]] on Light Portals and Dark Energy from the Dark Beam on Dark Portals, the Portal temporarily becomes stable enough to transport matter through dimensions.  

Samus also encounters three Portal Generators built by the Luminoth; one in each area of Aether. The Portal in [[Agon Wastes]] requires solar energy refracted through a series of lenses, thus powering it up. The other two Portals, however, have no visually apparent form of power, apparently simply powering up without being powered up first.
