I am an administrator on Wikitroid have just been informed that you used to copy text from Wikitroid, which as you know has been around much longer than this wiki. If you are not the main admin of this wiki, then I DEMAND TO SPEAK TO THE REAL ONE. You said you intend to be independant from Wikia, yet you seem to be very similar, such as the tabs up at the top when editing a page, which wasn't too hard to notice. Block me if you will, but us Wikitroid users already know, and if you do block me, I'll keep coming back. When you launched, I didn't trust you to begin with. :Linking to game pages and key pages from the main index isn't dirty or underhanded. Most wiki's link to their prominent content and game stuff on the front. At wikitroid, you guys do the same thing under the top content section/game nav on the left. Unfortunately MediaWiki doesn't support such a navigation. I am sorry you feel this is "dirty" or something, but your saying "do like we do and base yourself on your content". We are basing ourselves on our content... like every other site. Zelda Informer (my other site) does the same thing... and so do most fan sites. It's not dirty, it's highlighting top content, just like you guys do in your navigation. I am in fact utterly astounded at you people and your apparent, condescending lack of civility thereof. RAN1's comment shows absolutely nothing deserving of the type of response it received, and I am not just saying this due to him being a fellow administrator of Wikitroid. You people have the right to be angry at these accusations, that is a given, but you do not have the right to blow it out of proportion through the use of vile slang and uncivilized behavior, as such nearly ever one of you has portrayed. Just as well, Google also takes into account how many of that given phrase is on a webpage, through which, it establishes a list of what it believes to be the most valuable pages pertaining to the given phrase, based on (basically) how many of the given phrase is on that individual webpage or website. And for an encyclopedic website, such as Metroid Wiki, Wikitroid, or Zelda Wiki, this "scanning of keywords and phrases" is crucial for a search engine to give it's users the best source of information. And you people here on Metroid Wiki are actually manipulating this search function, into making your Wiki appear to be the best source of Metroid information, which it isn't, at least not yet, which I wish you luck on in the future. And by manipulating the search engine's functionality as such, you are quite frankly, lying to your own community and your own viewers. "Cheating" is certainly not the best word to be used in describing it, but the matter still remains: you are in fact lying to the online community. And that doesn't make it "cheating", but it does in fact, make it ''wrong''. And for you people to actually choose to do a thing such as this, means that your Wiki is based  solely on a lie. It doesn't necessarily matter if you are indeed the "best" source for something, it matters that the user does, indeed, find what they are looking for. Example: We have a walkthrough for Spirit Tracks. It is by far not the best walkthrough, but it is highly unique in it's nature and was the first one in existence. Should we not strive for top rankings because there are better ones out there? The information still works and gets the job done. Since you handle publicity, is there anything at all you can do to increase our user numbers? We are in need of people, this wiki is still young but I think we need more editors. I'm hoping Other M puts up enough hype with fans to influx the number of accounts. But Other M is a long ways from now. Where is Metroid Wiki advertised anyways? :This site has been primarily advertised at Zelda Informer - in fact that is where a majority of the hit base comes from. We get about 400 hits a day and ZI is a big reason for that. It has also been advertised by Zelda Wiki, Bulbapedia, and WiKirby. Unfortunately, Super Mario Wiki has yet to advertise us, but I am confident one day they will. GoNintendo also advertised us close to our launch date, though ideally getting advertised now when we actually have some content would of been better. 
:I agree that we need more editors, even still, but the metroid community is rather small on the net. We have been supported by one metroid fan site, and the biggest one (metroid database) is full of Wikitroid supporters. Hello, I am a big fan of the METROID series, from the original METROID on the NES to [METROID] 'Other M'. I do not know if you already have an IRC chat client dedicated to METROID, but I would like to propose one. I think having a chat would promote the community, users could speak to you, or other higher-ups directly, and ask questions about where they are in the game at that moment instead of waiting for a response over days.

::Oh, I see. I just feel that to have users download Skype is asking a bit too much, don't you? With an IRC client like this, all people have to do is click on the link, then there you go, you're in the chat. No dowloading, no waiting, and Skype can prove troublesome, when so many people are there, it can get confusing. :::The thing with IRC is that it requires java, and no, not everyone actually has java. Outside of that requirement (which is in reference to needing to download skype), IRC is clunky as it is and is best  used with a external program (xchat, mirc, etc). While IRC has it's benefits (I still use it for some things), the benefits of skype far outweigh those of IRC, primarily due to logging the chat while your offline. This allows the users to catch up ont he current conversation very easily.
