Tallon Metroid

Tallon Metroids are a variation of Metroid that has been created from developing on Tallon IV. The ones found on Tallon IV seem at first to be smaller versions of Metroids. They are also much weaker than normal Metroids. While a normal Metroid takes five Missiles while frozen to kill, a Tallon metroid only takes one Missile to kill. Tallon Metroids can also be destroyed by physical stress. They were apparently engineered by the Space Pirates for Phazon mutation. Although making them weaker at first, the varients created are stronger than normal one. The Space Pirates brought the Tallon Metroid were brought with them when the left Tallon IV. The Tallon Metroids found on Aether are red in color, but are otherwise identical.

Fission Metroid

No longer vulnerable to cold, are capable of splitting into two parts that are vulnerable.
Dark Tallon Metroid

Possesed by the Ing, are vulnerable to the Light Beam
Phazon Metroid

Still vulnerable to cold, but are capable of shooting energy bursts and are able to "phase" through objects or shots.
