Mecha Ridley (also known as the Ridley Robot) is an incomplete robotic weapon constructed in the image of Ridley, found in the Space Pirate Mother Ship. It attacks by firing rockets that can be destroyed for energy and ammunition, energy beams launched from its eyes, and fireballs. Mecha Ridley blasts the fireballs out in alternating diagonal blasts that Samus can evade with the Space Jump. It also can use its claws for melee attacks.
Mecha Ridley is the Metroid: Zero Mission exclusive form of Ridley as well as the final boss of the game. Mecha Ridley, as the name suggests, is a heavily mechanized form of Ridley. His body is completely covered in a durable metal of some sort that cannot be damaged by any of Samus's weaponry, with the exception of Ridley's blue, shining chest, a usual weakness. Mecha Ridley has glowing green eyes, although only one is ever shown. It also has a large contraption on his back, presumably, a battery to sustain its mechanical life. Mecha Ridley is unique among the different Ridley form, since it cannot fly due to not having wings or legs yet.

Mecha Ridley's weak point is a glowing area on its chest, covered by thin casing that must be shattered. The only weapons capable of damaging the vulnerability are Missiles and Super Missiles, especially when fired at a specific height. Mecha Ridley will normally keep its leading claw as well as its neck in front of the vulnerability to prevent damage, but when it slams the claw into the ground, its neck will have also moved upwards a bit and thus Samus can damage the robot.
Upon its defeat, Mecha ridley will drop a ton of health and activate the self destruct sequence of the mothership it is located on.

Once Mecha Ridley is defeated, a large amount of energy will be left behind. The robot then has its eyes glow red, signalling the activation of the ship's self destruct mechanism, forcing Samus to escape.

Lasers
Mecha Ridley sometimes fires lasers out of his eyes. The lasers can travel three different directions - straight, down or up.

Missels
Mecha Ridley will launch missiles from a launcher in its shoulder. These missels will home in on Samus, however Samus can destroy them to replenish her health and missel ammunition.

Very rarely, Mecha Ridley, will open and launch fireballs from his mouth towards the top and bottom parts of the screen. The only way to avoid this attack is by space jumping in the middle of the screen until his attack stops.
